Generate Office Excel Connection (OEC) files directly from Odoo for use in Microsoft Excel.

By selecting records from any module's list view and clicking on the 'Create OEC Template' action, the user will open the wizard to configure and generate the Excel file.
User can select multiple sale orders, click on the action menu button, and then click on the 'Create OEC Template' button. Once clicked, the OEC wizard will open for further configuration.
Configure Template & Generate Data URL
In this wizard, the user can configure the template details, including report options, and also add custom fields if needed. After clicking the Save button, a data URL link will be generated.
Data URL Integration with Excel
After clicking the Save button, a data URL is generated. This link can be used inside Microsoft Excel by pasting it into the external data connection wizard.
Live Sale Order Data in Excel
Once the generated data URL is added in Excel, all the selected sale order data from Odoo will be fetched and displayed in the sheet.
Set Refresh Interval for Auto-Update
Users can set a refresh interval. Based on the selected time, any new sale orders or updates made in Odoo will automatically reflect in the Excel sheet after that interval.

Users can manage how the Excel sheet connects to Odoo, including refresh timing and other basic data settings.
